This season Paul Brough conducts the Ulster Orchestra at the re-opening of the Ulster Hall organ, Haydn 'The Creation' for Manchester Camerata, the live Radio3 world premiere of BBC commission 'Actaeon - his strange new face' by Judith Bingham and a BBC programme for composer Patric Standford.
His CD of Britten 'St Nicolas' with the BBC Concert Orchestra was issued with the December 2009 BBC Music Magazine. This 60th Anniversary live Radio3 performance was relayed on seven international networks and made into a Web Video and digital TV transmission. His ongoing work with the BBC Singers for 'Performance in 3' and 'Afternoon on 3' includes Schubert, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Bruckner, Elgar, Holst, Delius and Villa-Lobos.
His seven-season partnership with leading period orchestra 'The Hanover Band'(Principal Conductor 2007-10) won enthusiastic notices: "A thoroughly brilliant and absorbing performance, sensationally conducted by Brough." - The Independent on Sunday
